Bom dia!!!
Mais "News" Diretamente de Fortaleza!! Da ultima vez que escrevi, estávamos indo jantar para depois ir à Festa do Pirata!! Lá, a meninada “se acabou” de tanto dançar forró, axé e enlouqueceram quando a Banda Pirata entrou no palco e alguns estudantes até participaram do show: voltamos para o hotel bem tarde e completamente acabados!!
Ontem pela manhã acordamos um pouquinho mais tarde, e em seguida fomos para o Beach Park, um dos pontos altos da viagem. Os estudantes aproveitaram muito e quase todos foram corajosos para descer o Insano, o mais alto toboágua do mundo!!! (41 metros, altura de um prédio de 14 andares). Para vocês terem uma idéia, você vai de 1 a 100 km em 3 segundos!! É uma loucura!!!
Hoje daqui a pouquinho seguimos para Canoa Quebrada, onde teremos a oportunidade de presenciar o por do sol mais lindo da viagem (na minha opinião)!!
A viagem ate agora esta maravilhosa, e todos estão muito felizes e curtindo bastante!!!

Good Morning you all!!

More news from Fortaleza!! Last day I wrote, we were going to the Pirate Party!! It was really amazing!! The students danced forró, axé and everybody enjoyed a lot when the Pirate band started. Some students even participated of the show!! We went back to the hotel late and really tired!!!
Yesterday, we slept a little more in the morning and after went to the Beach Park, another highlight of the trip. The students enjoyed a lot and almost everyone had the courage to go to the Insane, the highest water slide in the world. (41 meters high). For you to have an idea, we go from 1 to 100 km in 3 seconds!! It’s crazy!!
Today, right now we’ll continue our journey to Canoa Quebrada, where we’ll have the opportunity to see the most perfect sunset of the trip (in my opinion)!
The trip is really perfect until now, and we are enjoying everything a lot!!

Boa Tarde!!!!

Estamos agora na capital cearense: Fortaleza, a capital mais ensolarada do país, chegando ter 240 dias de sol por ano!! Chegamos aqui ontem a tarde!
Hoje bem cedo fomos para a Praia do Cumbuco, onde fizemos o inesquecível passeio de buggy, com muita emoção: todos simplesmente AMARAM!!! Acabamos de voltar do Mercadão onde todos fizeram muitas compras. Hoje a programação vai ser intensa: após o jantar, vamos para a tão esperada Festa do Pirata, a segunda-feira mais louca do mundo segundo o New York Times. Mando mais noticias em breve!!

Hey!!!

Here we are, in Fortaleza, capital city of Ceará state, the second beach of the trip. This city is for sure the sunniest capital of the northeast: some years the city have almost 240 days of sun!!
We arrived yesterday afternoon. Today early in the morning we went to Cumbuco Beach, where we all had the opportunity to take an unforgettable buggy ride through the sand dunes. It was REALLY REALLY exciting! Now we just came back from the Fortaleza Market, where we all shopped till we dropped. Today will be a really long day: after dinner, we will go to the craziest Monday party in the world, elected by the New York Times, the Pirate’s Party.

Bom Dia!!

Hoje faz mais um ensolarado e quente dia aqui no Nordeste do Brasil!
Os dias aqui foram tranqüilos! No dia das Piscinas Naturais, ainda fomos dançar forró a noite no tradicional Lampião, uma casa de show a beira-mar, na Praia da Ponta Verde: todos mostraram o que aprenderam em nossa aula em Brasília!!
Ontem pela manhã, acordamos cedo e seguimos pelo litoral sul até a Barra de São Miguel, onde pegamos um barco e atravessamos para a belíssima praia do Gunga, uma das mais lindas de todo o Nordeste. Ficamos na Praia do Gunga por mais de 4 horas e todos nadaram e aproveitaram bastante a praia!!! Fomos depois para a Feirinha do Pontal, com um belo artesanato, e rendas.
Hoje, como a manhã é livre, a maioria aproveita para dormir até um pouco mais tarde, enquanto outros estão na piscina curtindo a ultima manhã em Maceió!
Partiremos logo após o almoço para Fortaleza, no Ceará, e de lá mando mais notícias.

Good Morning!!

Today is another sunny and hot day here at the Northeast of Brazil!!
The days here were great. On Thursday night we danced forró at Lampião, a traditional forró house, in front of the sea. The students showed what they learned at the Forró Class in Brasilia!!
Yesterday morning, we woke up early and went through Maceió south coast towards Barra de São Miguel where we took a boat to cross to Gunga Beach, one of the most beautiful of the Northeast. We stayed there for more than four hours, and the students swam a lot! After this visit, we went to get to know the Pontal Fair, famous for its beautiful handicraft.
At this moment, as it is a free morning, some students are sleeping and others enjoying the hotel swimming pool.
After lunch, we’re going to Fortaleza, in Ceará state and from there I’ll send more news!
